Editor's Note - Setting the Standard

For many, 2009 was a very tough year. We went through (and to some degree) are still going through one of the toughest financial recessions in years, with many families being affected in many different ways. The H1N1 flu epidemic has also been front and center; with our children staying home sick for longer periods of time for fear of widespread contamination within our school systems.
